Outlandish was brought to life by Max McMurdo - designer, maker, engineer, TV personality, and a lifelong challenger of the ordinary.
Max built his career bending the rules of design, blending sustainability with style, and turning wild ideas into everyday objects. From television workshops to architectural-scale builds, his work has always lived at the intersection of creativity and precision.
In 2020, he turned that mindset toward a new frontier: the campervan world.
He saw an industry repeating itself.
He saw customers hungry for originality.
And he saw endless potential inside the blank canvas of a van.
So Outlandish was born.
